Middle School 

The philosophy of our middle school program is to successfully transition our students from middle school to high school by helping them become independent learners, successful leaders, and upstanding citizens.

As a 2019 Archdiocesan School of Distinction and twice named National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence, our students are challenged and prepared academically, socially and spiritually for secondary education. 

Saint Agnes Middle School provides:

• A catholic education which enables students to excel in scholarship, leadership, character development, and service.
• Preparation for the  Sacrament of Confirmation (7th Grade).
• A rigorous curriculum which follows the requirements outlined in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia and is oriented towards high school readiness.

Since 2016, our eighth-grade students have received over $2.5 million in academic scholarships to the private and parochial high schools in the area as well as $250,000 in scholarships for leadership, service, and the arts.

Since it's inception in 1995, Saint Agnes School has produced 19 Neumann Scholars.  The Neumann Scholarship was founded by the Connelly Foundation and identifies academically talented eighth grade students in the parochial school system through an independently administered competitive examination and provides four year scholarships to attend one of seventeen Archdiocesan high schools.  The Neumann Scholars Program is respected and recognized by prestigious colleges and universities locally and nationally, and the students are actively recruited.
