Sister Barbara was born in Philadelphia, attended St. Madeline Sophie School in Germantown
and Villa Maria Green Tree in Malvern. After working a brief time at A.T. &T, she entered the
Sisters, Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary in West Chester, PA. where her lifelong
dream became reality.
Sister came to St. Agnes from SS. Simon and Jude School where she assisted in the school
office.for one year. Through the years, sister served in the Archdiocese of Philadelphia, as well as the Dioceses of
Allentown, Camden and Harrisburg.

Besides serving as a classroom teacher, sister has also been a principal and/or local superior at
St. Richard, South Philadelphia, Annunciation, Shenandoah, St. Margaret Mary, Essington, Our
Lady of Fatima, Bensalem and St. Laurence in Upper Darby, PA.

Above all else, Sister is grateful for her religious vocation, loves being a part of a parish
community and is whole heartedly dedicated to Catholic Education, where she has the
opportunity to share the love of God
